Pioneering as Adelaide's first linear style Salsa studio over 4 years ago, we are now also proud to be Adelaide's first Mambo (Salsa On2 - NY style) studio, offering students the opportunity to broaden their dancing horizons and giving them the tools with which they can dance with anyone, anywhere, anytime! Kevin and Chelsea started Salsa dancing together in 2004 and have quickly become Adelaide's most sought after dancers. Adelaide's pioneers of linear style salsa dancing, Kevin and Chelsea founded Salsa Connection in 2006 as the first pure linear salsa school in Adelaide. They pride themselves on their precision, while keeping their dancing fun and exciting. Their connection is visible when they dance, and they enjoy touching each dance partner they have with their infectious energy, even if it's only for one dance! Kevin and Chelsea's adaptability, each of them dancing both lead and follow, as well as their commitment to the improvement of not only themselves but also their students, keeps men, women and teachers coming back class after class. All of this in one of Australia's most friendly and approachable couples! Luckily, they have developed an awesome team of Instructors that share their passion for fun and technical dancing, meaning you get the best of both worlds - Fun PLUS learning to do it right, from the ground up! The team at Salsa Connection recently returned from a fabulous trip to the Salsa Fiesta de Indonesia, Kuta, Bali & have been touring Australia, teaching and performing at some of Australia's biggest events!
Being invited to teach and perform at these events is something you have to work hard for, as they are not given out to just anyone. The crew here at Salsa Connection have worked hard to get Adelaide and Salsa Connection Dance Studio recognised on the international and national latin dance scene. We work hard to be the best around, so that we can give it all back to you - that way, you can feel safe in the knowledge that you are learning from the best Adelaide has to offer. What more could you ask for?
Apart from awesome social dancers, we create some of Adelaide's top performance teams too. If you want to be part of one of the performance teams that have already visited & performed at many festivals and congresses, then speak to us!
